Beef with Ramen Noodles is a delightful and flavorful dish that combines tender beef strips, crisp vegetables, and savory ramen noodles in a delectable sauce.
– 1 package (3 ounces) beef ramen noodles – 1 tablespoon cornstarch – 1 cup beef broth, divided – 1 tablespoon vegetable oil – 1/2 pound beef top sirloin steak, thinly sliced – 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 1 can (14 ounces) whole baby corn, rinsed and drained – 1 cup fresh broccoli florets – 1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper – 1/2 cup shredded carrot – 2 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces – 1/4 cup peanuts
Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside. For added flavor, you can toss the cooked noodles with a teaspoon of sesame oil.
Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup broth until smooth; reserve. This cornstarch mixture will thicken the sauce and give it a glossy finish.
Sauté beef strips in oil until cooked through, then add soy sauce and cook until thickened. Remove beef and set aside.
In the same skillet, stir-fry baby corn, broccoli, red pepper, carrot, onions, and remaining broth with reserved seasoning packets until vegetables are tender.
Add cornstarch mixture to skillet, bring to a boil, then add reserved beef and noodles. Heat through and serve, topped with peanuts for added crunch.
