Flypaper trap: Hang sticky flypaper strips in areas where gnats are present. Once the flies are caught, simply dispose of the strip.
Apple cider vinegar gnat trap: Fill a shallow cup halfway with warm water, add apple cider vinegar, sugar, and a few drops of dish soap.
Wine trap: To trap the gnats you have to use a cup filled with sour or vinegar-tasting wine, add dish soap, and set it out to trap gnats.
Fruit bowl trap: Place overripe or rotting fruit in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and poke small holes in the wrap.
Candle trap: Place a tall candle in a frying pan filled with water, light the candle, and turn off the lights.
Chemical repellents: If the gnat problem is severe, consider using chemical bug repellents suitable for kitchen use
Maintain cleanliness: Keep your kitchen and other areas of your home clean and free of food debris, as gnats are attracted to organic matter.
