10 Foods That Last (Basically) Forever

Sugar: Stored in a dark, dry, cool place in the pantry, sugar will remain good indefinitely. For best quality, use it within two years.

Low-Acid Canned Goods: Canned foods with low acid content, like meat, beans, peas, soups, and vegetables, can last from two to five years in the pantry.
